    GrowthMindset is seeking a Director, Product Management (Medical Device) for a direct hire position in Bothell, WA.


    The Director of Product Management will provide the vision for the product roadmap and development strategy to deliver world class products that drive market growth and user retention.  The Director will drive the entire product lifecycle from conception to global market launch to post-launch evaluation to iterating improvements and end of life planning.   


    The Director of Product Management will be responsible for leading the Product Management organization.  This team is responsible for NPI (New Product Introduction) as well as Lifecycle Management of the entire portfolio of Product Solutions and Services.  This team is also responsible for identifying and executing on strategic opportunities in the Global Ultrasound Markets.


    • Lead the Product Management team to successfully execute strategy by developing meaningful new products and sustaining the existing portfolio in a manner that is relevant to our customers and our organization.
    • Build a product roadmap and strategy for developing innovative products and features while prioritizing on-time product delivery.
    • Define product features and definition for new and current product offerings.
    • Ownership and responsibility of product portfolio through entire product lifecycle from initial concept, feature specification, product design to launch and ongoing product refinement and end of life planning.
    • Develop strong relationships with clinicians to attain deep understanding of user needs to ensure the “voice of customer” is reflected in products and business processes.
    • Clearly communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholders.
    • Lead Lifecycle Management cross functional team.
    • Drive fact based product requirements based on market research to support both market analysis and new product designs specifications.
    • Support program management to effectively prioritize market needs, product priorities and deliverables.
    • Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, marketing, business development, and finance to better understand customer requirements, competitive threats, and new opportunities.  
    • Develop strong relationships with clinicians and internal and external stakeholders to define and evaluate new innovative product concepts to address unmet customer and business needs.
    • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and across the organization to support critical path activities and communicate progress against the product roadmap.
    • Monitor financial performance metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of new product enhancements (ROI success).
    • Analyze and report on competitive activity and technology development trends that may impact business.   
    • Participate with the Development Team in the evaluation of Safety Risk according to standard practice and industry guidelines for the system (ISO14971) and software applications (IEC 62304).
    • Work with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to support regulatory activities specifically related to the introduction of new products (i.e., country registrations, submission and follow-up of 510k), as well as responding to internal and external audits (i.e., FDA, ISO, other regulatory bodies).


    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor degree in Biomedical, Medical, Business, or Engineering field. MBA required
    • Proven track record of leading product management team through the entire product lifecycle from conception to post-launch evaluation and end of life planning within medical imaging.
    • 7+ years of experience utilizing Medical Imaging technologies in diverse clinical environments with a firm understanding of product attributes that lead to positive user experiences and patient outcomes.  
    • 10+ years’ experience with ISO, FDA, or other regulated product development environments.
    • Ability to synthesize complex technical and market issues into product solutions and gain acceptance and commitment from all levels of the organization for product realization and commercialization.
    • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional product line teams.
    • Previous medical device industry experience required.
