    GrowthMindset is seeking a Senior Director, Accounting Shared Services for a direct hire position in Omaha, NE with one of our leading clients.


    In this role you would be responsible for implementing strategic plans, process improvement and proactively adopting best in class for Accounting Operations. This would include leading a team of 18 ppl and reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer. In this role you will oversee operational accounting for multiple business units including  billing, cash applications, fixed assets and general ledger.


    • Analyze accounting operational procedures in the key areas of billing,   cash applications, fixed assets and general ledger. 
    • Review internal controls and ensure compliance in accordance with GAAP
    • Oversee the preparation of month-end, and year end reporting
    • Oversee equity awards
    • Review accounting and billing processes and ensure processes are accurate
    • Resolve high risk issues
    • Manage team, make process improvements and create efficiencies and controls for financial reporting ICFR (Internal Control Over Financial Reporting)


    • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field
    • MBA highly desired
    • 7 -10 years of progressive experience in accounting leadership
    • 3-5 years of supervisory experience
    • Shared services experience in multi-national company a plus
    What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements on this position?
    • Must have 8-10 years of solid accounting management experience for large multi-national
    • 5 years of strong supervisory experience.
    • USGAAP
    • Process improvements
    • Good technical skills on large ERP
    What are the nice-to-have skills?
    • CPA and or MBA a plus
    • Shared Services background huge plus
